The Power of Chōwa is a book about the Japanese philosophy of finding balance even when things seem to go wrong. Author Akemi Tanaka wanted to create a cover that visualises this in a way that’s quintessentially Japanese and embraces traditional simplicity while still feeling modern.

A limited edition of The Power of Chōwa designed to do exactly what it teaches, with a special cover that keeps the book in a constant state of balance. This is done through a simple cut in one of the book’s corners, reflecting the Japanese style of achieving balance through natural simplicity and imperfection*.

This was created in collaboration with Robin Gordon, Ella Monti and Akemi Tanaka and was awarded a wooden pencil by D&AD 2021.

For Valentines day, Alice Goodrich wrote ten gooey love songs for Creme Egg and got it pressed with real Creme Egg goo inside. Matthew Montgomery-Taylor and I developed the gatefold record sleeve artwork.

Air pollution has been declared a public health emergency in The UK. The British Lung Foundation wanted to highlight the issue and lobby government to improve air pollution regulations.

We printed the The Clean Air Act in glue and placed these posters around London, pollution particles in the air clung to it, making its text legible, demonstrating how ineffective and outdated that law has become, showing passers-by and MPs why a new law is desperately needed.

Produced in collaboration with Crosby & Cottam at McCann London. This project won a D&AD graphite pencil in 2019.

Identity and graphic system based on research conducted by NASA, rating and identifying plants to combat chemicals within the home. The app helps you identify which elements in your home may be problematic - recommending the perfect plants to combat toxins.

7 tracks by 7 amazing musicians. Each one is pressed 100 times to 7" vinyl. Creatives from around the world are then invited to interpret the tracks in their own style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sleeve for every 7”. They're then exhibited and sold to raise money for charity.

Donation Icons is an innovative new piece of technology that allows you the user to raise money for Oxfam, without costing you a single penny. The application transforms your desktop icons into a smart and ingenious media spaces that brands can advertise in. Users donate their icons and brands donate the money. The program launched globally in February 2016. Visit www.donationicons.com to sign up and start donating your desktop icons. I did the voiceover while struggling with a bad cold. The sound engineer did not appreciate jokes about Clem Fandango. It won a shameful bronze at Cannes.

Promotional material for Cream. The annual exhibition held by The Talent Business promoting the best junior talent in Advertising from around the world. This was the tenth anniversary of the event.
